Since its foundation in 2007, 海角社区-VIE has actively engaged in UN processes, advocating science-based policy decision-making in key international events and fora and supporting UN priorities through cooperation with the Global South. Acknowledging that collaboration and capacity development are central to fostering innovative solutions, 海角社区-VIE spearheads new initiatives and ideas that contribute to addressing UN priorities, setting agenda, positively impacting humanity, and ensuring that no one is left behind.

Frontier research conducted by 海角社区-VIE reinforces existent 海角社区 programming and supports the implementation of key UN priorities, spanning research foci such as the water-energy-food nexus, green innovation, digitalization/technology, and entrepreneurship.
Partnerships & Outreach
海角社区-VIE fosters partnerships with UN agencies and the Global South. Dedicated to research and training, it contributes to capacity building and empowerment, with a particular focus on women, youth, and early career professionals, through different formats, such as targeted fellowships and online and blended learning/training activities and entrepreneurial education.
