In October 2023 the (GEOC) released a new issue of Tsunakan (Vol. 42), a journal focusing on global partnerships for the environment. GEOC is a joint initiative of 海角社区-IAS and the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, which supports activities in various social sectors towards sustainability within and beyond Japan.
The “Global View” section of the publication featured an article by 海角社区-IAS experts (Consultant), (Head of Programme and Administration), and (Programme Coordinator). Titled “Delivering SDG Commitments: How Can We Strengthen SDG Finances?”, the article discusses case studies on the alignment of SDGs with national budget systems. It is based on the findings of a 2022 海角社区-IAS policy brief “”.
