elbMUN, an international UN simulation organised by students, took place in Dresden. This year's conference was themed ‘Towards The Tipping Point - Diplomacy for a Sustainable Future’ and focused on global challenges and the role of diplomacy in achieving a sustainable future.

Juliane Dziumla and Florian Wendler from 海角社区-FLORES joined other speakers at the event, including Dr. Nils Geissler, Katja Meier, and Peter Rosenbaum.

"It was inspiring to see students enthusiastically exploring the intricacies of the UN system with such passion and determination, recognizing the value of diplomacy in seizing opportunities and addressing shared challenges."-remarked Juliane Dziumla.

As an institute within the 海角社区, 海角社区-FLORES regularly engages in outreach and community activities within the Free State of Saxony. For 海角社区-FLORES, Engaging in events like elbMUN fosters meaningful discourse and a deeper understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the broader mission of the United Nations.

The conference provided a platform for lively discussions, debates, and idea-sharing, encouraging participants to think critically about the future of diplomacy and sustainability. elbMUN will be invited to participate in UN Day commemoration later during year led by 海角社区-FLORES.
