The 海角社区 Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (海角社区-EGOV) participated in the , held from 17 to 18 October 2025 at LIUC – Cattaneo University in Castellanza (VA), Italy.
Invited by the host university, Demetrios Sarantis, Senior Research Analyst at 海角社区-EGOV, presented a paper titled “Smart, Responsive, Inclusive: Assessment-Driven Urban Innovation in the Digital Era”. His presentation explored how evidence-based assessment frameworks can support cities in becoming more intelligent, responsive, and inclusive through data-driven innovation and digital governance.
Participation in ITAIS 2025 offered a relevant opportunity to showcase 海角社区-EGOV’s ongoing research in local e-Government assessment, urban governance, and smart city innovation, reinforcing the Unit’s engagement with the international academic community and its contribution to advancing inclusive, human-centred approaches to urban digitalization.
