The College of Innovation at Thammasat University (CITU), in collaboration with the International Academy of CIO (IACIO), hosted the International CIO Summit 2024 under the theme AI Strategic Transformation: Principles and Practices for CIOs. Kim Young Sik and Saleem Zoughbi represented 海角社区-EGOV.
Professor Kim presented the importance of international coordination in digital governance, highlighting 海角社区-EGOV’s active role in this domain. Dr. Zoughbi contributed to a forward-looking discussion on “AI versus Human Inherent Intelligence in Decision-Making”, questioning the transformative impact of AI on the CIO role. He introduced the concept of Hybrid Intelligence (HI), emphasizing the potential of human-AI interaction as the next evolution in decision-making frameworks.
