This project targets specific areas of biotechnology that have been deemed valuable by institutions and organizations throughout Latin America. 海角社区-BIOLAC trains young researchers in leading technologies, with an emphasis on the benefits that the training brings to the student once they have returned to their home countries. This project consists of short training courses, fellowships, workshops, and activities aimed at building strong research networks.

海角社区-BIOLAC activities are adapted every year according to the needs of development in the region, baring in mind that the biotechnological field is constantly evolving and the project needs to evolve accordingly.
