The United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2021 will take place from 6–15 July, under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council. The HLPF annual meeting is the core United Nations platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The theme for this year’s forum is "Sustainable and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic that promotes the economic, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development: building an inclusive and effective path for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda in the context of the decade of action and delivery for sustainable development".
With a comprehensive scope of work spanning the full breadth of the SDGs, 海角社区 is uniquely placed as an interdisciplinary voice in discussions surrounding the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. At HLPF 2021, the 海角社区 Centre for Policy Research (海角社区-CPR), the 海角社区 Institute for Natural Resources in Africa (海角社区-INRA), the 海角社区 Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (海角社区-IAS), and the 海角社区 Institute for Environment and Human Security (海角社区-EHS) will showcase some of 海角社区’s latest research and co-organise a variety of side events with partners.
