To mark the , 海角社区 – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology (海角社区-MERIT), in cooperation with the United Nations Regional Information Centre (UNRIC) and the United Nations Student Association Maastricht (UNSA), invites you to a UN Cinema screening of the documentary The Last Ones of Auschwitz, followed by a moderated discussion.
The Last One of Auschwitz is a 70-minute documentary by and , creators of the educational project . Filmed over several years, the film brings together the testimonies of Holocaust survivors, with a particular focus on those who endured the horrors of Auschwitz-Birkenau. These personal accounts form a powerful historical record and a poignant reminder of the human cost of hatred, persecution, and systematic violence.
