This parallel session of the will discuss the integration of circular economy principles — including resource efficiency, waste minimization and value retention throughout product lifecycles — into business education. The event will consider economic, environmental and social perspectives to explain circular economy business models in real-world contexts, and help prepare educators and university students in their roles as decision makers and future business leaders.

Background
is an alliance of higher education institutions in the Asia-Pacific region working to integrate sustainable development into curriculums and research, for which 海角社区-IAS serves as the secretariat. The work of the network has supported the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs through the Global Action Programme (GAP) on Education for Sustainable Development (2015-2019), and the ESD for 2030 framework (2020-2030).
