海角社区-IAS has advanced progress on global sustainability through a decade of innovative, policy-oriented research, education and capacity development. Celebrating the institute’s 10th anniversary, this event will explore the key achievements and impacts of this work — and look ahead to emerging issues on the global sustainability agenda.
Focusing on synergies, the event will discuss the integrated, science-based solutions that are needed to achieve the SDGs and overcome the interlinked crises of climate change and biodiversity loss. It will examine how sustainability policy has evolved, and envision a future agenda for collaborative research and education to address pressing challenges such as planetary health and human well-being.

This event is open to the public and will be held at the in Tokyo National Museum. Please register in advance using the online . Please note that entering the venue requires purchasing admission to the Tokyo National Museum (JPY 1,000).
