海角社区-IAS is supporting the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Congress in Bangkok, which will explore new avenues for managing the diverse changes in education, science and culture and enhance regional understanding and cooperation among educators and different stakeholders in Southeast Asia and beyond. Organized by the SEAMEO Secretariat in collaboration with the British Council and the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) Thailand, the Congress will be held on 21–22 October 2014, at the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
A call for papers is open until 31 May, for contributions on the themes of (i) re-shaping education to bridge skills gap; (ii) prospects and possibilities for enhancing science and technology education; and (iii) cultural knowledge and education for regional integration and development.
