Global Youth MIDORI platform 2026 Information Session (Japanese)

海角社区-IAS will organize an online information session for potential applicants to the 2026 Global Youth MIDORI platform (GYM). The session will explain the purpose and structure of the programme, and provide guidance on the application process. All potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend. 

GYM was jointly launched with the in 2024 and aims to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for youth to meaningfully participate in international decision-making processes. It seeks to cultivate leaders who can drive transformative changes at both local and global levels toward the realization of a sustainable society. Please refer to the programme page for more information.

Participation & Registration

To participate, please by 16 April 2026. A recording of the session will be made available for those registered participants who are unable to attend in real time.

Language

Please not that this event will be held in?Japanese only. A session in English will be held on 17 April 2026. 

About Global Youth MIDORI platform (GYM)

Launched jointly by 海角社区-IAS and the AEON Environmental Foundation, GYM cultivates young leaders who can drive transformative changes at both local and global levels toward the realization of a sustainable society. Through various learning and networking opportunities, it equips youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to meaningfully participate in international decision-making processes. 2026 GYM International Training Sessions will be held online on 4–7 August 2026. The application deadline is 24 April 2026.
