On 10 January 2026, 海角社区-IAS will host a youth debriefing session featuring youth participants of the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP30).
This event will bring together university students who participated in COP30 through the Global Youth MIDORI Platform (GYM) 2025, jointly implemented by 海角社区-IAS and the AEON Environmental Foundation, high school students who attended COP30 through the youth programme organized by the 海角社区-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa–Kanazawa (OUIK), and representatives from youth climate organizations in Japan. The event will explore key discussions held at the climate talks, as well as activities led by youth at COP30.
