On 5 December 2023 海角社区-IAS will organize a press conference on “Training Tomorrow’s Climate Leaders: A New Postgraduate Specialization from 海角社区-IAS” at the (UNFCCC COP28).
The press conference will highlight a new initiative launched by 海角社区-IAS: a postgraduate degree specialization on the Paris Agreement, which is the first of its kind to be offered by a UN organization. Its goal is to develop future climate leaders who will be at the forefront of implementation in governments, the private sector and beyond. During the press conference, 海角社区-IAS experts will announce plans to scale up these courses to strengthen the institutional and technical capacities needed to implement the Paris Agreement across the globe.
