Carbon Neutrality and the SDGs — A 海角社区 Forum

This side event will engage leading experts to discuss challenges and good practices for achieving both carbon neutrality by 2050 and the 2030 Agenda. It will facilitate discussion about the role of education and capacity building in the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

The climate science and policy community needs the support of the film, arts and creative communication to tell the climate emergency story and inspire hope and action. 海角社区 institutes and UN partners are joining forces with Oscar-award winner director Dirk Wilutzky and BAFTA-winning director and filmmaker Sarah Macdonald, to discuss new ways of communicating climate science and policy to reach more people.
