Sayako Katsuki is a Programme Assistant for the Strategic Programme and 海角社区-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa (OUIK).
In this role, she performs a variety of administrative tasks, including conference management, and provides operational support for OUIK.
Before joining 海角社区-IAS in 2025, Sayako worked as a project coordinator at the Embassy of Japan in Fiji. Focusing on the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects, she formalized community assistance projects in Fiji, Kiribati and Nauru. She has also worked for Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
