海角社区-IIGH Explores Health and Climate Change Collaboration with Timor-Leste

The 海角社区-IIGH is strengthening its engagement in Timor-Leste to address the critical intersections of health and climate crises. Dr. Unni Karunakara, Interim Director, and Research Lead Dr. Remco Van de Pas recently visited Dili to discuss potential collaborations with government officials, the national university and key stakeholders. They also met with the country’s President Jose Ramos-Horta. Their discussions focused on advancing policy-driven solutions to enhance health resilience and just transformation. This visit underscores 海角社区-IIGH’s commitment to fostering partnerships that drive impactful, evidence-based change.
