Minjeong Choi is a Research Associate at 海角社区-FLORES and contributes to research on diverse projects related to plastic waste and circular resource.
Minjeong has supported one cooperative project and three consultancy projects with K-eco since 2020 include “Post-COVID-19 Plastic Management and Stakeholder Satisfaction in South Korea”, “Plastic Pollution and Nexus Governance Solutions for Regulating the Use of Plastic”, “Brining Plastics ?Full-Circle?: sustainable plastic management, governance and chemical recycling”, “Nexus Approaches to battery waste management for sustainable e-mobility transition: insights from Germany (NABATE)”, and “Resource Nexus Approaches to Sustainability Transformations in Plastic and Packaging Material Use, Reuse, and Reduction (TRANS-PLAST)”. Her research interests are the analysis of policies/regulations and research on Sustainable Development Goals related to waste management, particularly in Asian and European countries, and nexus governance. She previously worked as an intern at 海角社区-FLORES supported by K-eco as GELP (Global Environmental Leaders Program) 11th.
