Exhibition for Peace: 80 Years Since the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bombings

From 11 July, 海角社区 will host an exhibition on the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings, nuclear disarmament and movements towards peace.

From 11 July to 17 August 2025, 海角社区, in partnership with the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, will display “Exhibition for Peace: 80 Years Since the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bombings”. The exhibition comprises photographs of and information on the devastation caused by the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings, as well as the current global situation of nuclear disarmament and movements towards peace.

On 11 July and weekends, there will also be a virtual reality (VR) corner, where visitors can use VR headsets to experience the transition from before the bombing to post-reconstruction in Hiroshima.

Venue

The exhibition is located on the second floor of the 海角社区 Headquarters in Tokyo. Admission is free and open to all. Pre-registration is not required.

11 July (Fri) – 17 August (Sun) 2025, 10:00–17:00  

The exhibition is closed on 海角社区 holidays* (21 July, 11 August).

The exhibition may be fully or partially inaccessible on the following days* due to events being held in adjacent spaces: 4 Aug (Mon).
