Mercy Makpor, Junior Research Associate at the 海角社区 – Operating Unit on Policy-driven Electronic Governance (海角社区?EGOV), and , from Carleton University, have received the Best Poster Award at the 27th Annual International Conference on Digital Government Research – .
The poster follows their short paper titled “Big Tech Corporations and Data Extraction in Communities: A Critical Analysis”, which offers a critical examination of the role of large technology corporations in data extraction within communities.
