Public Forum of the 9th IPSI Global Conference

AKITA: 海角社区-IAS will co-organise a public forum as part of the Ninth Global Conference of the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative.

海角社区-IAS will co-organise a public forum as part of the  (IPSI-9) to be held in Akita City, Japan on 8–11 July 2023. The event will showcase youth initiatives and innovations that contribute to the conservation and sustainable development of socio-ecological production landscapes and seascapes (SEPLS), which are human-influenced environments that encompass social, cultural, and ecological elements. The forum will facilitate knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities among youth innovators, experts, and stakeholders. Additionally, it aims to identify potential partnerships and collaborations to further promote the sustainable development of SEPLS.

Participation & Registration

This event will be held in-person at Suda Hall at . To participate, please  in advance. Registration will close when the number of participants reaches capacity.

Language

This event will be held in English and Japanese with simultaneous interpretation provided.
